Meet Hattie

We sat down with Hattie to ask her the following questions:
- What do you enjoy about gardening with volunteers?
Hattie: Seeing how being outside and amongst nature really makes people open up and relax. - What’s your favourite garden or green space?
Hattie I love sitting in the hills in Burgess Park amongst the echinacea. The planting is so good! - Your favourite gardening activity?
Hattie: Anything pond-based! Love those tiny worlds. - Your favourite plant?
Hattie: oof. Hard one. At the moment it’s Sarcococca confusa or Sweet Box. It’s sent is like drinking in honey and I love that it flowers in the darkest January days. Gives me a nice lift. - What do you get up to when you’re not gardening?
Hattie: I have an antiques background so I love antiques, charity shops and second hand fashion 🙂
